Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) represented President Muhammadu Buhari at a peace mediation summit on the situation in South Sudan in Addis Ababa on Monday
The summit is on the platform of the Inter-Governmental Authority, (IGAD). (IGAD is the regional trade group of 8 African countries from the Horn of Africa, Nile Valley and the Great Lakes.)
Leading African nations including Nigeria and others like the United States, China, United Nations, European Union, among others in the international community were all present at the summit
The vice president joined other leaders from the continent and outside including the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Mr. Hailemariam Dessalegn .
