Rivers PDP Chieftain 'Osondu' Assassinated

Olala Osondu, Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ahaoda West Local Government Area of Rivers State has been murdered. 

 

According to Nigerian Tribune Osondo was assassinated in the early hours of Tuesday. The deceased was said to be returning to his residence off Rufus Ada-George Road at about 12:30 a.m on Tuesday, after a meeting, when the gunmen killed him.

Narrating how the assassination took place, a source who spoke anonymously said the deceased's wife said she heard two gunshots outside their compound after she had sighted her husband's car. When she ran outside after the gunshots, she found her husband dead. His killers did not take anything from him.
