The Nigerian Super Falcons secured a 1-1 draw, with their Equatorial Guinea counterparts in a well-played Rio 2016 Olympic qualifier at the National Stadium in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.The first goal of the Saturday game came in the 23 minute through a volley by Nigeria’s Arimat Arinde while Chinata Okoro, a Nigerian playing for the Equatorial Guinea team equalised just before the first half break.
Both teams efforts in the second half of the game could not earn them a goal, as the match ended 1-1.
The Captain of the team, Evelyn Nwabouku, was optimistic that the team would do all they could to qualify for the 2016 Olympics game in Rio, Brazil.
